As previously foreshadowed, I’ve been working my way through the older All These Roadworks e-books to provide them with new cover designs, replacing the old “white box” trade dress with more dynamic titling.
I am happy to announce that the first ten All These Roadworks Story Collections have now been updated to the new editions! And the Collector’s Bundle #1 has also been updated to contain these new versions!

But it’s not just new covers! I’ve taken advantage of the updates to bring all of these books up to the standard I expect from new ATR releases.
That means:
- New covers.
- All books are now at least 20,000 words in length. Books that were previously shorter have received additional stories to expand them.
- All remaining Creative Commons Zero images have been removed from the books to simplify licensing and IP.
- Image-based bonus content has been re-designed with new images.
- All bonus content and backmatter is now 100% Smashwords compatible (which means that the version of these books on Smashwords will now be identical to the EPUB version sold on this site).
- Some stories have been edited, lengthened or improved in minor ways.
- Some stories that were duplicated across multiple books were removed and replaced with new original stories.
These books are all now individually priced at $4.99 USD, to bring them into line with other ATR releases of comparable length. However, until the end of August, they will be available at a reduced sale price of $3.99 USD.

The new versions of these books are also being populated to my Smashwords store, although please note it will probably take longer to update the Collector’s Bundle #1 on that site due to the awkward way that Smashwords handles bundles. (I strongly recommend buying it on this site instead.)
