I should really make an effort to publish these updates earlier in the relevant month – although I’m sure you’re not disappointed that I’m prioritising a steady stream of story content!
Personal update
I lost a personal friend this week in the United States to COVID. She was in an at-risk category. Her carer caught it; then she caught it; then she went to sleep and never woke up. I hadn’t seen her in some years, but I miss her all the same.
The prevalence of COVID in the United States is particularly heartbreaking because it’s so unnecessary. The US could, and should, have been among the countries best-placed in the world to combat this disease, and to lead an international response, and the fact that it hasn’t should make you outraged. It’s gross negligence, and you should express your anger at the ballot box.
Here in Australia, our worst-affected jurisdiction, Victoria, just recorded its first day of zero new cases and zero deaths since the outbreak began. An end to lockdown there looks imminent. Here where I am, the situation is even better, and some level of normalcy is in effect, although we’re all a bit paranoid and staying close to home.
This website continues to be my sole source of income for the time being. I’m getting by, but it would be nice to be a little further from the edge.

Site News
September site sales were down.
Admittedly, that’s down from my best month ever, and it was still enough money to live on, but it’s a little disappointing.
It’s possible that worsening economic conditions generally mean that people have less money to spend on porn. My stats also suggest that it’s reflective of a decline in traffic to my key referrers. BDSMLR appears to have slowed down in growth substantially. Reddit has quarantined the subreddits most inclined to appreciate my stories. In defiance of all received wisdom, it continues to be difficult to find stable, safe communities to share extreme fetish erotica on the internet.
At this stage October looks likely to be comparable to September, showing neither growth nor decline.
Other sites
BDSMLR
BDSMLR continues to be the primary place that I post new free stories. The interface and stability of the site still leave much to be desired, but it’s reliable, it allows me to control my own content, the developers are very responsive to issues, and most importantly it has a very large user-base, with over 10,000 people following my feed there.

NEWTUMBL
I’m still maintaining a presence on newTumbl. As you can probably tell from the name, it’s another Tumblr-clone attempting to capture the users that Tumblr has kicked off.
It’s got a *much* nicer and cleaner interface than BDSMLR – albeit that the “like” button isn’t as prominent as it should be – and it allows me to present my content in a more attractive way. Plus crossposting from BDSMLR to newTumbl is very easy so it’s not too much work to republish my content there.
Unfortunately its userbase is comparatively tiny, and the clickthroughs I’m getting still don’t really justify the effort of maintaining it. I’m hopeful of cultivating a larger audience so I’ll stick with it for now.
I’ve only got about 250 followers there. If you’re planning to read my content on that site, be aware the queue is about a month behind where BDSMLR is (so about two months behind Early Access). I’d really appreciate more Shares in particular, if you have an account there!
Reading me on newTumbl will require an account, and you’ll need to set your account to allow you to see Explit (X-rated) posts.

MCSTORIES
I continue to regularly make new content available on MCStories (the Erotic Mind Control Stories Archive), and it generates a lot of referrals.
The reasons you don’t see even more stuff there are:
* it’s for mind-control stories only;
* it enforces a minimum word count, so longer stories only; and
* I don’t have direct control over my content there – I email stories to the site manager, and he publishes them manually on his schedule.
Still, I’ve had only good experiences with them and I recommend the site.

WARP MY MIND
I’ve just started experimenting with posting stories on Warp My Mind, which is another hypno-oriented site that primarily hosts trance-inducer audio files. If you’re not already in this scene, please do some safety reading before mucking around with self-hypnosis.
(To be clear, I’m not producing any trance inducer audio. My content on Warp My Mind is just the same text stories I’m publishing elsewhere. There’s only one up as at this writing but I’ll probably post a few more.)

Story Requests
As previously discussed, since earlier this year I am no longer selling story requests, either directly or as a right of membership.
However, I have been reaching out to Premium Members to offer complimentary requests, with no fixed timetable for delivery, attempting to offer one request per month of membership to those who are still Premium Members today.
I have covered all requests through to the end of July (except two) and will soon reach out to those who were members in August 2020 to see what they’d like. If you were a Premium Member in August , and haven’t yet had a story request logged against that month, please get in touch and let me know what you’d like. Donation
As part of the process of writing gender-degradation and non-consent erotica in a responsible way, I have committed to donating at least 5% of the site profits each month to a women’s charity combating domestic violence, unsafe housing and/or sexual assault. (See this post for more info.)
At the start of October I donated an amount of $155 AUD (about $110 USD) to a registered charity providing homelessness support, drug and alcohol support, and domestic violence support to vulnerable women. Total donations since the donation program started now exceed $1,450 AUD ($1,032 USD).
COVID-19 is putting a lot of pressure on domestic violence services right now, due to new stresses in relationships, and increased impacts on victims in abusive relationships having to spend more time with their partners. Now is a great time to make a donation to a domestic violence charity in your area if you have the ability to do so.
