The library of e-books available to Premium Members has now been updated for June 2025.

Each month Premium Members receive free access to at least 18 books from the All These Roadworks library, plus all books made available to Stories Members. (Check out memberships in the shop.)

Every month, seven or more books are rotated out of the library and replaced by new entries.

All books are available in PDF and EPUB editions.

The Premium Library program does not include audiobooks, or books by other authors released under the ATR Partnership Program.

Notice to Members: Weird Dropbox Email

Hi! If you’re a paid ATR member currently accessing ATR content on Dropbox, you may have gotten an email today that says something like:

“Some content currently shared with you that’s owned by the Rubes team on Dropbox will be permanently deleted on 5 June 2025.”

This appears to have gone out to everyone who has access to my content on Dropbox right now.

1) This has nothing to do with your membership. You have not been cut off, and you do not need to renew if you have not gotten a renewal reminder.

2) You do not need to take any action.

I have no idea what has triggered this email, but my best guess is something to do with the fact that I temporarily took my Dropbox over its maximum storage limit yesterday. I don’t know who “the Rubes team” are, but there is nothing in my Dropbox that I can discern which I am not the original owner of.

In a worst-case scenario, where Dropbox does what the letter seems to imply – e.g. deleting the contents of the Stories Membership folder – I will simply re-upload it.

It does not seem to be an issue with the content of the folder, or it would have been deleted immediately, and it wouldn’t have referred to it being shared with me.

Anyway, the takeaway for members is you can ignore it.

Sales continue to be painfully slow since the beginning of the US-based global trade instability. Over April and May they haven’t been at a sustainable level, so I really need to see an uptick in purchases in order to keep making ends meet.

I’m continuing to produce as much new content as possible – including 8,000 words of new stories for the new edition of Inner Selves, go check it out – but not going quite as fast as I’d like. (I’ve still well ahead of my deadlines, though.) The ability to write comes and goes: sometimes I have a lot of it, and other times I don’t. Right now it’s a struggle. Honestly, it does help when sales are going well – knowing people are eager to buy makes it that much easier to write.

New Edition: Inner Selves

Is it a new edition – or a whole new book? Inner Selves is back in a new edition with over 8,000 words of new stories, new bonus content, and more!

I first published Inner Selves in March 2021, and at that time my standards for new anthologies were different – with the result that the original version of Inner Selves was only 16K words / 55 pages in length, lacked any exclusive content, and reprinted a large number of stories which had already been collected in other (non-hypno) titles.

Bringing it up to my current standards has required me to write a huge amount of new content – including the new feature-length story “Dani’s Truth” – and the good news is that readers like you are the beneficiaries!

Here’s the full list of changes:

  • New cover art – This edition features new cover art to bring it stylistically into line with my other recent releases.
  • All Creative Commons images removed – The old (unsexy) Creative Commons Zero images accompanying stories have been taken out.
  • BRAND NEW exclusive bonus content – This edition features four pages describing the fictional Thorn-Dartley Invitation hypnosis competition.
  • Removed stories – A range of stories duplicated from other releases have been removed (see below).

Every month, seven or more books are rotated out of the library and replaced by new entries.

All books are available in PDF and EPUB editions.

The Premium Library program does not include audiobooks, or books by other authors released under the ATR Partnership Program.
