Is it a new edition – or a whole new book? Inner Selves is back in a new edition with over 8,000 words of new stories, new bonus content, and more!

I first published Inner Selves in March 2021, and at that time my standards for new anthologies were different – with the result that the original version of Inner Selves was only 16K words / 55 pages in length, lacked any exclusive content, and reprinted a large number of stories which had already been collected in other (non-hypno) titles.
Bringing it up to my current standards has required me to write a huge amount of new content – including the new feature-length story “Dani’s Truth” – and the good news is that readers like you are the beneficiaries!
Here’s the full list of changes:
- New cover art – This edition features new cover art to bring it stylistically into line with my other recent releases.
- All Creative Commons images removed – The old (unsexy) Creative Commons Zero images accompanying stories have been taken out.
- BRAND NEW exclusive bonus content – This edition features four pages describing the fictional Thorn-Dartley Invitation hypnosis competition.
- Removed stories – A range of stories duplicated from other releases have been removed (see below).
- New stories – Around 8,500 words of new stories have been added (see below).
- Longer – This edition is around 5,000 words and 18 pages longer than the previous edition.
- Typo fixes and format fixes throughout
- Better EPUB version

- Breaking Jenny’s Promise (343 words) – This story still appears in “Girl on Girl”.
- The Destroyer (1,305 words) – This story still appears in “Born to Breed”.
- Lily and the Fuck-Kitten (643 words) – This story still appears in “Use Me”.
- Professionalism (482 words) – This story still appears in “A Woman’s Work”.
- True Female (2,717 words) – This story still appears in “Systems of Control”.

It is expected that the new edition of Inner Selves will also be available on Smashwords within two weeks.
