Take a look at what’s coming soon to All These Roadworks!

Personal and site news

First off: I know I skipped Upcoming Stories for a couple of months. I’ve been really struggling to keep up with the workload recently – paid members will have seen a few stories delayed by one or two days at times – and I’m only just starting to feel like I’m back on top. Upcoming Stories wasn’t essential, and no one was paying for it, so it got dropped.

In good news, the site has actually done pretty well over August and September, so I’ve postponed the hunt for a day job. Please keep buying books and memberships! If it can keep up at this level, I’ll probably be okay. (Although the US dollar continues to suck relative to my local currency. $100 USD used to be $150 AUD, and now it’s more like $135. That difference adds up quickly.)

I’m still theoretically open to story commissions, or paid work doing e-book formatting or cover design, if that’s something anyone’s interested in. Story commissions start at $250 for 2500 words.

A couple of other quick notes: paid members may have noticed I’m moving to a new cover style for one shots and story chapters, which aims to more literally depict the events of the story. If you’re a paid member, it’s the style used across the last two weeks of releases in Early Access in Dropbox. I’ll be experimenting with some other styles as well, but if you’ve got strong thoughts about it, let me know.

Secondly, my schedule now includes eight stories a week for paid members, rather than seven. The bonus story is an extra reblog, dropping on (Australian) Wednesdays alongside the existing reblog for that day. However, free readers will still get these stories at the rate of one per day. Over time, this will extend the scheduling difference between members and free readers, so that members are getting content even further ahead of the free queue. I’ll be continuing this program through to at least the end of the year, by which point I should have extended the gap between the releases to a total of about nine weeks.

Exciting Upcoming Release

I’d normally put this further down, but I wanted to highlight an exciting upcoming release – The Lesbian Debt: Illustrated Edition.

What is it? Well, firstly it’s an updated and corrected version of the text from The Lesbian Debt, fixing typos and continuity errors that have been detected since the last release. Everyone who has previously bought The Lesbian Debt on my store will be able to download new PDF and EPUB versions with those fixes.

But the Illustrated Edition also contains over 100 full-page illustrations of the text. They literally depict the characters and events of the story, they are sexually explicit, and they are absolutely not safe for work.

The illustrations are AI generated, so if that’s not something you get value from then feel free to pass.

The Illustrated Edition will release on 16 October 2026 and will sell for $14.99 USD. Unfortunately, I am not able to offer a discount for those who already own the non-illustrated edition. Due to the explicit nature of the illustrations, the Illustrated Edition will NOT be available on Smashwords.

This is an experiment. If you want to see other books released in this illustrated format, please vote with your dollars when the book releases!

A sample gallery of relatively WordPress-friendly illustrations is included below.

Stories and Content

Recent book releases

Here’s a quick recap of releases since mid-July, in case you missed some:

Free Queue

Here’s what’s coming soon for free readers! All these stories are coming to the free queue on this site, hopefully on the dates shown. They’re also coming to Imaglr, a couple of weeks after that.

Paid members can read the stories in Dropbox right now. (Click here to view memberships in the store.)

A reminder that the following eight stories are Core Stories and are guaranteed at least one chapter every month until they’re done: The Silver Leash, The Cheerleader Conversion, Compelled Courtesy, Noncon Isekai, The Etrebor Assignment, Titsy, Madelyn’s Conservatorship, and The Foster Girl.

Quick notes on a few stories:

  • The Lesbian Debt will be reblogged weekly until it’s done. (The final chapter is Part 40.) I’m currently thinking of running Abby’s Identity as the next reblog serial once it’s done.
  • Tease Dare and Guessing Bianca are continuing to run on a schedule of one story per fortnight for now. Guessing Bianca hopefully won’t be a super-long story – I’m hoping to resolve it in around 10 parts and make it a $4.99 book release.
  • Titsy is coming to an end somewhere between Part 25 and Part 27. It will be released as a paid book on 6 November. It’s a Core Story, but I’m not going to run a survey to replace it until I have another Core Story completed as well.
  • I suspect The Cheerleader Conversion is in its final act as well, but it’s not quite as close to being finished as Titsy and I have a bunch of scenes I want to do before I wrap it up, so you probably won’t see a book for that one this year.
