The Financial Rollercoaster: In terms of sales, the exhausting rollercoaster of worrying lows and acceptably mid “highs” continues. June has been okay, driven by strong sales of Rhea Listic’s Everbright Lane (link) and Tori Hamlin’s The Study (link). To truly get my feet back under me, I need the site to maintain this current level or improve on it. As always, your loyalty and business are deeply appreciated.

Adjusting the Writing Pace: Between writing the regular Core Stories and making headway on outstanding requests, you’ve probably noticed a lot of weeks lately with three or even four new serial updates—each averaging over 2,000 words.

To be completely transparent, this pace just isn’t sustainable for me. When I started the site, my commitment was 6,000 words of new fiction a week. Pushing 8,000+ words is too much to maintain long-term. To protect my output and my sanity, I’m going to drop back to releasing some shorter stories on the one-shot days. This brings the workload back to the baseline I was maintaining prior to the start of the Core Stories program.

Health Update: On the health front, I’m doing okay—which is to say, I’m still managing my blood pressure condition. Medications and doctor visits are expensive, but I’m grateful to live in Australia, or else it would be significantly worse. Getting a handle on these medical expenses is the primary reason I’m pushing for higher sales right now; I’m currently in the frustrating position of having to pick and choose treatments based on what I can afford.

Free Queue

Here’s what’s coming soon for free readers! All these stories are coming to the free queue on this site, hopefully on the dates shown. They’re also coming to Imaglr, a couple of weeks after that. (BDSMLR is still broken so posts there will only be manual, and intermittent.)

Quick notes on a few stories:

  • The Lesbian Debt will be reblogged weekly over the next year in the same fashion as Titcage.
  • The one-shot story Sluts in Training appears in the new edition of Sluts in Training and you can read it right now by purchasing that book.
  • The new serial Tease Dare is the result of me having something I wanted to write and banging out three chapters over a single afternoon. At this stage there will be new chapters for paid members every second Friday.
  • I’ve reblogged a few older chapters of Ask Dr Degradation because they needed a key art upgrade from their old CC0 images, and the release of the Ask Dr Degradation book was a good time to do that. These displaced a couple of other reblogs previously announced – those reblogs have been rescheduled for future months.
