Take a look at what’s coming soon to All These Roadworks!

Site News

I’m at the stage where I have to say that, barring a miracle, my erotica business in its current form is not sustainable, and I’m going to have to rethink it in the New Year.

The hard numbers are these: I need my site to gross an average of $150 USD a day to be okay. I need it to gross $200 USD a day to be comfortable. (Those are the numbers before paying royalties to partnership authors.)

December is normally one of my best months of the year. This December, I’m only grossing $90 a day.

It’s hard to say why that is. The start of the continuing downturn in sales coincided with tariffs in the US, which is where the majority of my customers come from, so I think economic factors are part of it. My total site views and visits aren’t down dramatically – just sales.

In any case, while I do have some financial safety net, I can’t pay my bills with what I’m currently making, so something needs to change. That may be how I sell my erotica – maybe the total free access model has run its course – or it may be that I need to scale back the time I spend on erotica and get a day job again.

They’re not fun decisions. I can afford to postpone them until after the holidays.

(Be assured that whatever happens, it’s not going to result in this site shutting down or any impact on the shopfront or previously purchased books.)

Commissions open

Related to the above – I’m willing to take commissions. Commission prices start at $200 USD, depending on what you want and how much I want to write it, with the possibility of some discount for repeat/ongoing customers.

What I’m most interested in doing is producing more chapters of serial stories you’re already enjoying, but faster so you can get more of your favourite storyline right now. What I’m not interested in doing is writing anything that’s not my kinks, anything that’s darker than what I already write, or anything about real people or fandoms I’m not a part of.

If you want to explore the possibility of commissions, please email me at all.these.roadworks@gmail.com. I *will* respond to emails I see so if you don’t get a response within 48 hours drop a comment on a story somewhere here so I know to check my spam.

New bonus for Premium Members

Just in case you missed it, I’ve added a gallery of uncensored cover images to the material available to paid Premium Members, on the basis that you might enjoy it, and the content already existed so I may as well upload it. That means you’re getting even more value out of your Premium Membership (and also helping support me to keep writing).

(You can read more about this by clicking here.)

Recent book releases

Here’s a quick recap of the last month-and-a-bit of book releases, in case you missed some:

My release schedule got knocked around a bit from what was previously foreshadowed due to some site technical difficulties a couple of weeks ago, which affected the release dates of Obey the Rules, Privilege, and the upcoming Nadia Nightside release Bimbo Office.

Free Queue

Here’s what’s coming soon for free readers! All these stories are coming to the free queues on this site and BDSMLR, hopefully on the dates shown. They’re also coming to Imaglr, but at the moment that queue is running a little behind compared to other sites.

Paid members can read the stories in Dropbox right now(Click here to view memberships in the store.)

Quick notes on a few stories:

  • Titcage is a reblog of my very first erotic novel, which has never before been released for free on this site. It’ll run weekly in the reblog slot for 42 weeks, which is to say most of the next year.  Or you can just go and buy the e-book version right now (link).
  • The Etrebor Assignment is a new member-requested tale of the patriarchal nation of Etrebor, featuring incest, misogyny, and a dash of office politics!
  • Amy and the Feed, which has been a one-shot for a while, is being expanded into a longer story due to member request. I’d always intended this to be a serial but it never got interest after the first chapter so I’m glad to be able to return to this and write a little more of it.
  • Compelled Courtesy is the result of people repeatedly begging me for a sequel to Average Availability. This isn’t a direct sequel, but it’s a new approach to the basic concept of Average Availability, with a twist.

Upcoming Book Releases

I am tentatively expecting the following book releases over this period.

  • 19 December – Bimbo Office / Nadia Nightside
  • 24 December – untitled release / All These Roadworks
  • 26 December – Korrupting Kayla, Book 3 / Tori Hamlin
  • 2 January – Molly’s Collar / Pixie Isobella

  • 16 January – Godfather’s Hypnosis Ring / Bimbo Blackwood
  • 23 January – College Virgins Violated / Apophenia
  • 30 January – untitled release / All These Roadworks

Of those untitled releases from me, my plan is for one of them to be Persephone Nine, one to be a new edition of Lessons in Lust, and the third to be either a book version of Ask Dr Degradation or a new edition of The Ternish Betrayal. But the specific order of those releases will depend on how much time I have available over the holiday period.

Writing Queue

In addition to all of the above, here are the serial stories currently in my queue of requests to be written from long-time Premium Members. These don’t count the stories which are written but not yet released, detailed above.

These requests are from people who were paid Premium Members in May or June 2023 and who are still Premium Members today.

Generally speaking I expect to complete stories relating to earlier months before stories relating to later months, but I do jump ahead sometimes if I’m in the mood to write a particular story.

  • RELATING TO MAY 2023
  • The Parole Officer, Part 21
  • The Silver Leash, Part 27
  • RELATING TO JUNE 2023

10 thoughts on “Upcoming Stories – 16 December 2025 to February 2026

  1. I’m sorry to hear that sales are still depressed. If I hopped into a stories Membership now would I get access to the first part of Compelled Courtesy? I’m a big fan of Average Availability and glad if you’ve found a way to revisit that type of story that feels fresh to you.

    1. Yes, Stories Members can read Compelled Courtesy right now!
Although it’s 11 pm in Australia as I write this so if you buy a membership literally *right now* you’ll have to wait for me to wake up in the morning before I can activate it. 🙂

  2. Personally the main reason I’m not a member is that I’m only interested in two of your stories and they update once a month. Way too rarely for me to support someone. Basically it’s a lot of filler compared to what I care about.

I suggest putting much more focus on a few stories (3+ chapters a week) and then rotate as they reach significant milestone such as the end of a book.

    1. I appreciate this feedback! However, I’m unlikely to go this route because:
      (a) The model in terms of stories is the same today as it was in January 2024 when I was doing very well, which suggests that’s not the key issue.
      (b) Stories that get new chapters are stories that have paying customers who like them. Focusing on a few stories in order to be more attractive to their fans inevitably is less attractive to fans of other stories; it’s unlikely this results in a net gain.
      (c) I have a fairly limited capacity to increase how many total words I write each week. Currently the normal output pf new material for a week is two serial chapters, and two shorter one-shots. If I dropped the one-shots entirely, I could reliably produce three chapters a week, but that has flow-on effects because the one-shots are an important part of my marketing on some platforms where serials don’t really work. If I’m writing more total, I need it to be fairly closely linked to a direct increase in income (which is why I’m taking commissions).
But no bad ideas! I’ll keep this thought in the mix when I do my brainstorming/planning day later in the month.

    2. I’d also echo this, I’ve been a paying member in the past, have followed this blog for as long as there were memberships, and have thought about becoming a member again, but to me the main thing I’m looking for is the consistent appealing stories.

To touch on your points, I don’t think its about volume, but consistency of themes/stories. At the moment it feels like the themes, styles, and interests vary pretty wildly, which is enough to make me stick around for what interests me (a few things a month), but not to become invested. The current pace of new work seems fine to me, its just how much of it “misses” me.

Obviously this is subjective, and to point 2 there are probably customers who have exactly the same interests, but it feels like the scope of stories cover such a wide variety of topics that you’re only going to get people invested who have the exact same tastes as you across a range of interests, leaving those behind who only share a subset of those.
It feels like focusing more on fewer but consistent themes, still ones you are interested in, would get a smaller audience more invested. The rational being that invested people are willing to pay, and to get people invested they have to like what they see consistently, perhaps by focusing on one story for a bit as mentioned or ones with similar themes

At least that’s my 2 cents, I very well may be wrong, and I’m not staking my lively hood on it so its easy for me to speculate, it very well might just be that my tastes have drifted and its just a market problem and I’m entirely wrong!

To illustrate my feelings though; These “upcoming stories” posts used to be something that got me really invested and were reasons I thought about becoming a member, but I feel like they’ve slowly morphed into “oh ok so what I like is showing up 4-5 times until February…”

In any case I’ve always enjoyed this blog so I hope to see it be successful in whatever form from one Aussie to another!

      1. This is appreciated feedback. I am seriously considering “fewer serials, with more frequent chapters” as a change that I could make (among others). However, if I were to take that further and focus down on a more limited range of kinks and themes, the inevitable outcome of that would be that my stories would almost exclusively be either office/hypno, incest/hypno, or incest/corruption, as they’re my most reliably-selling themes (and the easiest to market).
I don’t think it’s likely that I actually could narrow down that much. The only way my writing works is if I write what I find hot, so sometimes if there’s a story occupying my mind I just have to drop everything and write it (which is how we got Madelyn’s Conservatorship recently, plus many older stories). But it certainly could be the case that I could narrow it down to only eight ongoing serials actively being written, that each reliably get a chapter every month.
But also just noting that the other metrics seem to suggest that people aren’t visiting my site less, or reading fewer of my stories, which suggests it’s not (generally speaking) a problem with either the quality or themes that I’m writing. If the overall quality was worse, I’d expect fewer visitors total, and if the visitors were only interested in a few stories, I’d see fewer page reads. But that’s not what I’m seeing. I’m still getting as many people visiting the page, and they’re reading as many stories as they did a year ago. They’re just not *buying*.

  3. I’m going to echo ete here.

There’s only two stories I really like at the moment, noncon isekai and cate star. And cate star hasn’t had anything in a while. The one shots are nice, but after you’ve read a dozen, they get repetitive. They’re not bad, just kinda samy. Maybe a day job or something to help clear your head and taking a mild break from writing will help inspire you. Get your mojo back so to speak.

I hope you have some luck going forward.

    1. Thanks for the best wishes!

I’d note that Cate Star and Noncon Isekai are both completely different kinds of stories from anything I wrote in my first four years, which illustrates the difficulty. Noncon Isekai is certainly very popular, but these are stories reaching *different* readers – perhaps with different kinks and preferences – than the readers that built my site between 2019 and 2024. I could possibly please those new readers more – but am I at risk of losing established customers with an established willingness to pay by doing so?

FWIW there’s lots of Noncon Isekai coming because people love that story. (This amuses me endlessly, as I only started it as a joke, on a dare.)
Cate Star gets a lot less interest – particularly from paying customers – which is why you haven’t heard from it in a while.
