The first person to get there would win half a million dollars, plus the “secret prize”; the next fifty people would just get the secret prize.
The secret prize was *supposed* to be a new luxury car, parked in a private car park behind the offices of Business Trader, and the final clue, encrypted via steganography into an image on a hidden page of the website, was supposed to have shown the location of the car, with a person standing next to it waving a sign saying, “Business Trader Gives Me The Edge” – the act that would allow them to claim the prize. People reaching that final clue were told that it would show them “the location and nature of the prize, and imply the act needed to claim it”.
Except that Taylor made a mistake.
