Personal News
It’s impossible to separate my personal health from the world news. There’s a daily barrage of assaults upon my friends who are queer, trans, disabled and/or non-white. I’m worried for the physical safety of those who are in the US and I’m worried for us here in Australia with many politicians wiling to follow the same playbook. It makes it hard to focus on, and be motivated by, work, but I’m doing my best.
That’s mostly manifesting in a lack of energy or enthusiasm to start new projects and process the admin. On the creative side, I continue to be well ahead in my writing, so that’s something at least. I’m far enough ahead that you’re occasionally going to see some serial stories in the one-shot spots, and some new one-shots on what are normally reblog days, because I can afford to do that.
Site News
December and January showed strong sales, but February is a desert. I don’t know if it’s events in the US generally, or financial uncertainty and instability, but not enough of you are buying books this month. I’m at two thirds of where I expect to be for a February, less than half where I *want* to be, and only 80% of my “safety” bottom line. (And I’m seeing an even larger drop-off on Smashwords. I normally do about $300 a month there and February looks like I’ll be lucky to hit $150.)
I’m hoping it’s temporary, because I can’t do multiple months in a row like this.
In other sad news (though not meaningfully consequential), unfortunately no authors made it into the finals of the Golden Pigtail Awards this year. It’s not unexpected. Maybe next year! You can go vote for the finalists anyway, if you want, by clicking here (link). The books that were nominated for the semi-finals will remain 25% off in the ATR store until the end of February.

Free Queue
Here’s what’s coming soon for free readers! All these stories are coming to the free queues on this site and BDSMLR, hopefully on the dates shown. Paid members can read the stories in Dropbox right now. (Click here to view memberships in the store.)
Quick notes on a few stories:
- Emma’s Division is a reblog. The reblog program has reached the point where there’s probably going to be other older serials in the reblog queue once Emma’s Division runs its course.
- Riley’s World is a member-requested follow-up to “Riley’s Documentation”, exploring vignette stories from that world. No idea how long it will run for, but hopefully long enough to fill a book.
- Peyton vs Porn is a five-part hypno serial about an anti-porn crusader who’s hypnotised into becoming a porn-addicted slut. It’s already complete and you can buy it as an e-book (link).
- The Stepford Pattern is a new hypno story arising from a member request. The male protagonist is a basically good person who gets the benefit of cruel hypno performed on women by another person. No idea how long this one will be.
- Unwilling Models is a short series of three one-offs, each about 2,000 words, that will be included in the upcoming new edition of “She’s Got The Look”, as part of my program of replacing duplicated/redundant content in older collections with new material.
- The brief run of fanfiction stories in this list (Pokemon Master, Dark Apprentice, Updating Disney, Galinda Becomes Popular, Claiming the Princess) was a result of preparing the “Worlds of Lust” free e-book that was given to paid members over Xmas. That book isn’t available for sale (because it’s fanfiction) but will occasionally be rotated through the library of free e-books made available to Premium Members.
