Personal News
I continued to struggle with health, or rather the time and money costs of attending appointments and buying medicine and supplies. Currently I’m being recommended to use a CPAP, which is going to cost me about $2000 AUD to buy if I go with that. I haven’t been able to sleep through the night using the trial one yet though so we’ll see.
On the other hand, I’ve been having a period of unusual productivity which has enabled me to stay well ahead on my writing queue (as you’ll see below). I’m not expecting this to be a “new normal” but I’m taking advantage of it while it’s here.
Site News
The site set new records for sales in December and early January, which is nice. However sales have gone comatose in the last week-and-a-bit, which is frustrating (because, as above, I have frustrating new unexpected costs in my life).
Free Queue
Here’s what’s coming soon for free readers! All these stories are coming to the free queues on this site and BDSMLR, hopefully on the dates shown. Paid members can read the stories in Dropbox right now. (Click here to view memberships in the store.)
Quick notes on a few stories:
- Emma’s Division is a reblog.. It *has* been on the site before, but the reblog program has by this point brought almost all the stories that predate this site across to this platform. (It took more than five years!) So, going forward, reblogs will often be stories that have been published on AllTheseRoadworks.com before. It gives me a chance to revisit these stories and, on occasion, edit or improve them in the process.
- Allison’s Education is already complete and available as an e-book in store, but it will still be several months before free readers get their hands on the final chapters. (Click here to view the e-book in store.)
- Riley’s World is a member-requested follow-up to “Riley’s Documentation”, exploring vignette stories from that world.
- Peyton vs Porn is a shortish hypno serial about an anti-porn crusader who’s hypnotised into becoming a porn-addicted slut. I’m currently expecting it to be finished within six chapters total, and thereafter to headline a book titled “Peyton vs Porn and Other Stories of Hypnotic Conquest”.
- The Stepford Pattern is a new hypno story arising from a member request. The male protagonist is a basically good person who gets the benefit of cruel hypno performed on women by another person. No idea how long this one will be.
There’s also a few fanfic stories in this batch. That doesn’t represent any ongoing shift to more fanfic – it’s just the wash-up from producing the member-exclusive book Worlds of Lust before Xmas. (Click here for details on that book.)
I briefly mentioned a story called “Breeding Princess of Dune” last Upcoming Stories. I ended up canning that story because it just wasn’t working. Dune’s just not a sexy enough universe.
