It’s been nearly five years since I first published “Taken – Stories of Abduction and Captivity”, which means it’s well overdue for a new edition!

The new edition of Taken continues to deliver some of my most extreme stories of abduction, enslavement, and brutal breakdowns – but it’s been improved to meet my current standards for All These Roadworks e-books!
Here’s the full list of changes:
- New cover art – This edition features new cover art to bring it stylistically into line with my other recent releases.
- All Creative Commons images removed – The old (unsexy) Creative Commons Zero images accompanying stories have been taken out.
- Reworked bonus content – Smashwords compliant – The four pages of bonus content have been reworked with hot new images, and made Smashwords compliant, so all shopfronts will have the same version of the book. I think the new content looks better, and I hope you will too.
- Removed story – I have removed the story “For Tara’s Sake”, to reduce duplication of stories across anthologies. This story still appears in “Girl on Girl” and “Harlot’s Hymn”.
- New stories – I have added the following two new stories, which were previously uncollected:
– “The Glory Hole” (580 words)
– “The Bottle” (1,512 words) - Improved story – I made edits and small expansions to “The Teardown Room” to improve its flow and readability.
- Typo fixes and format fixes throughout
- Better EPUB version

The version of Taken included in Collector’s Bundle #4 has NOT been updated at this time. It is expected that this update will occur alongside the forthcoming release of a new edition of “Inner Selves”.
