Okay, I haven’t made a big deal about all the recent new editions of older ATR story collections, but I have to make an exception for the 4th Edition of Crime and Punishment…

… because this is an almost entirely new book!

Part of the process of updating the older editions involves ensuring that all books in the ATR Story Collections series are at least 20,000 words long, and reducing the duplication of stories across multiple books.

In the case of Crime and Punishment, that meant removing four stories that were duplicated in other books, adding in three older, previously uncollected stories, and writing TWO ENTIRELY NEW LONG STORIES specifically for this release.

The new edition has over 9,000 words of new content! Plus more!

Here’s the full list of changes:

• New cover art – This edition features new cover art to bring it stylistically into line with my other recent releases.
• Small title change – It used to be “Stories of Law and Authority”. Now it’s “Erotic Stories of Law and Authority”. This should help its branding on third-party storefronts like Smashwords.
• All Creative Commons images removed – The old (unsexy) Creative Commons Zero images accompanying stories have been taken out.
• Reworked bonus content – Smashwords compliant – The five pages of bonus content have been reworked with hot new images, and made Smashwords compliant, so all shopfronts will have the same version of the book.
• Removed four stories – I have removed:
  – Domestic Bitch Control Services. This story is duplicated in Fit For Purpose and Slave New World.
  – Ruined Dreams. Not only has this story been expanded into a serial, it is also duplicated in Serving Girls and Systems of Control.
  – Small Town Values, Parts 1 and 2. The whole series of Small Town Values is now collected in its own dedicated e-book, “Small Town Values”.
• Added three new previously uncollected stories – I have added:
  – The Cockteasing Laws (66 words);
  – Modesty Laws (1,075 words); and
  – Shoplifter Slaves (420 words).
• Wrote two entirely new stories – I have added:
  – Natasha and the Raid (3,337 words); and
  – Undercover Slut (4,263 words).
• Expanded one story – “Visual Aid to the Jury” has been expanded for a better reading experience with about 200 new words.
• Typo fixes and format fixes throughout
• Better EPUB version

The new edition is significantly longer than the old version, even after the removed content.
