Exciting Site Changes! Longer stories, better schedules!

Last month, I shared that things were looking a bit tough financially for the end of 2025. Because of that, I’ve had to make some adjustments to how All These Roadworks runs.

The great news is that January has started off strong! Thanks to everyone buying memberships and books, the first two weeks of 2026 have been very promising. This gives me the breathing room to make smaller, helpful changes, with room to experiment.

Here’s what’s coming your way:

Introducing “Core Stories”

I currently have about 30 ongoing stories, which means some can go months without an update. You’ve told me you want more chapters, more often—and I’ve listened.

Starting in March, I’m launching Core Stories:

  • Consistent Updates: I am picking eight “Core Stories” that will get at least one new chapter every single month until they are finished.
  • A Schedule You Can Trust: Chapters will drop for paid members every Monday and Thursday for the first eight instances of those days each month. Free readers will see them about 50 days later.
  • You Help Pick Them: I’ll be running two surveys soon—one for our Premium Members and one for everyone.
    • 3 stories will be chosen by Premium Members.
    • 3 stories will be chosen by the general readership.
    • 2 stories will be chosen by me based on what’s popular and what I’m most excited to write.

I will also continue offering story requests to people who have been Premium Members for a long time, on a complimentary basis – mostly because I enjoy it – but that will be supplemental to the Core Stories commitment, and so it may take much longer to deliver those requests.

Retiring Microstories

I’m officially moving away from stories under 500 words. Most of these were shorter “captions” from my Tumblr days, and I want to focus on the deeper, longer stories you enjoy more.

  • You’ll see the last few remaining microstories in the current queue, but after that, I won’t be adding any more.
  • You might see some old ones pop up in “reblogs” while I fix up some older posts with better images, but once that project is done, the microstories will be fully retired.

Membership content updates

To keep the site sustainable and allow me to release bigger, better books, I’m changing how new releases work with memberships. New book releases by All These Roadworks will no longer be included for free in monthly memberships.

What this means for you:

  • Current Members: If you have an active subscription right now, you’ll keep getting free books until your current term expires. Keep an eye out for a Dropbox invite to a special folder containing your free books soon!
  • New or Renewing Members: If you join or renew after this post goes live, the membership won’t include new book releases.
  • Still Great Value: Memberships still include all other perks, and Premium Members still get full access to the Premium Library of older e-books.

Membership still represent amazing value for money – and they’re still the best way to support me to keep creating hot new erotica for you to enjoy.

Free Queue

Here’s what’s coming soon for free readers! All these stories are coming to the free queues on this site and BDSMLR, hopefully on the dates shown. They’re also coming to Imaglr, a couple of weeks after that.

Quick notes on a few stories:

  • The Etrebor Assignment is a new member-requested tale of the patriarchal nation of Etrebor, featuring incest, misogyny, and a dash of office politics!
  • Compelled Courtesy is the result of people repeatedly begging me for a sequel to Average Availability. This isn’t a direct sequel, but it’s a new approach to Average Availability concept, set in the same universe.
  • Eliza’s Possession is an incest ghost-story one-shot that turned out to be so long when I wrote it that I’ve broken it into two parts. It’s not ongoing – part 2 is the end.
  • Lessons In Lust is a short serialised schoolgirl-humiliation story which will appear in the upcoming new edition of “Lessons in Lust”. It’s expected to be about 9,000 words in total, and will replace content removed from that book because of duplication across other releases.

Writing Queue

In addition to all of the above, here are the serial stories currently in my queue of requests to be written from long-time Premium Members. These don’t count the stories which are written but not yet released, detailed above.

These requests are from people who were paid Premium Members in May or June 2023 and who are still Premium Members today.

I have temporarily stopped taking new requests until members have had the chance to read and understand the new “Core Stories” policy above, and find out what stories are selected for that program.
